A Medium sized international compant specialising in hosted Digital Signage
solutions.
They had already grown internationally in 3 continents and had a well respected
product/service portfolio. However they lacked the structure and discipline required to sustain their growth in a measured
and controlled way. They also lack the resources to keep building the business.
The solutions to their problems were
Design and implement a centralised Product and Project
Development process. This allowed them to share resources across geographies depending on
requirements.
Instigate a bid review process, with a remit to validate both
customer proposals & any developments or enhancements. This ensured that any solution
proposed to the end customer could be supported by the business, had the correct level of resource allocated to it
and could be delivered within the timescales.
It allowed them to confirm that the bid (or development) made commercial
sense.
To help overcome their resource issues a new product range was
developed with all the appropriate support and collateral processes and materials in
place. This was then launched on to the market through Value Added Resellers (VARs) mainly Telco’s
and System Integrators.
The final task was to standardise their internal IT
infrastructure across all the offices.
Enabling them to more easily draw support and expertise from other geographies,
making the most of limited resources.
